We spent Friday night with the Holme's family at their cabin. I took this quick snapshot of me and Scott before going out for a boatride.I received this saying in my Inbox today and thought it was appropriate for Monday's Moment.
Four things you can't recover:
The stone ... after the throw.
The word ... after it's said.
The occasion ... after it's missed.
The time...after it's gone.
I love this saying. I recently had a conversation with one of my friends about making the time to spend with the people we love and miss. You can't get time back, you can't get re-create a moment that passed. You have to make the time ... busy or not.
Tammy called us to see if we could join them for the evening. Brea was gone and we didn't have any other plans so we jumped at the chance to spend time with them. It's always a good time! So here's to making the time to spend with family and friends creating a lifetime of memories!
