Recipe: Zesty Italian Chicken

Zesty Italian Chicken

This recipe is made in the crockpot so it's perfect to put together in the morning.  Here's the recipe:

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or pork)
8 oz. cream cheese
1 packet Zesty Italian Dressing Mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup water
Sundried tomatoes (optional)
Rotini noodles
Garlic bread

Place chicken in the bottom of the crockpot. Mix the cream cheese, Zesty Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup and water in a bowl.  Pour over chicken.  Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.  NOTE:  If you are including the sundried tomatoes, halfway through the cooking time, put the sundried tomatoes in the crockpot and combine as much as possible with the cream cheese mixture.

With approximately 20 minutes remaining, boil water in a pan and make the noodles.  While they are cooking, take the chicken out and place on a cutting board.  With two forks, shred the chicken and place back in the crockpot.  Stir in and leave simmering for 10 to 15 minutes.

Serve over the noodles with garlic bread.
