She's Officially A 5th Grader!!

It's the first day of school ... 2008!

6:30 a.m. - Alarm goes off

6:39 a.m. - Alarm goes off again!

6:40 a.m. - Get Brea up and get ready for the day

Brea decided THIS was the perfect shirt to wear for the first day. She's been on the go all summer long and dog-gone-it, if she doesn't plan on being able to spend as much time with her friends. That might be a challenge with homework and everything else we do, but we'll for sure fit in some time for her to continue her much needed social life!

7:00 a.m. Eat a yummy breakfast of cereal

7:07 a.m. - Start the madness of taking pictures - LOL! Brea's used to me taking photos of everything so she just poses and smiles. She's all set with supplies in her backpack ... ready to learn!

7:10 a.m. - Talk to Daddy so he can wish her a great day at school.

7:20 a.m. - Take the traditional picture of Brea by the tree in our front yard. It's great to compare every year.

7:23 a.m. - Head inside for a picture of us together because it's starting to drizzle outside!

7:35 a.m. - Board the Bus! This photo is not retouched in any way so you could see how DARK it was outside this morning. There was bad weather here last night and it stopped raining at about 7:00 in the morning, just enough time to go outside and take a few pictures.

3:35 p.m. - She's Home!!! And she had a BIG smile on her face. I asked her how her first day as a 5th grader in a new school was and she said, "It was AWESOME!" Sweet!!
