Let's Celebrate America!!

July 4th

For the 4th, we always go to Spicer's parade and meet our family there. We enjoying seeing lots of family and friends who are actually in the parade. This year, afterwards we went to Nancy's house to enjoy some great food and to relax. That night, Brea and I went into watch the fireworks display ... one of my favorite parts of the whole weekend!

Mom, Debbie and Brea waiting for the parade to start.

Doug walking with the Color Guard in the parade. He is on the far right-hand side in the front row.

John drove one of the fire trucks while Evan (on top of the truck) and Noah (inside) rode along with him.

Shelby and Hayden watching the fire trucks go by.

Hayden LOVES being with Daddy!

Ashley and Me melting in the HOT sun!

It's become a tradition that I take a picture of Brea and her friend, Kaitlyn, who rides with the BMX group in the parade. :)

After he was done with the route, John joined us where we were sitting.

{ the Fab Five and a wee one }

Another day ... another table of food for all of us to eat! With a weekend like this, I should weigh about 300 pounds!!

Uncle Dave stopped over after he was finish with his police reserves duties. Hayden had fun playing with him.

Time for the fireworks!

I hope you all enjoyed your 4th of July weekend as much as we did! We're so proud to be Americans and truly appreciate what every soldier and veteran has done for us. Freedom isn't free. There are men and women paying the price with their lives every day for us and we will never take that for granted so to you, we thank you!! God Bless!
